(MUSKEGON, Mich.) — The arrival of a tugboat and barge for winter layup has posed concerns for a large ice-fishing tournament, the Muskegon Chronicle newspaper said. The tug Karen Andrie and barge Endeavour were expected to arrive at Muskegon Lake just prior to the ice-fishing competition, which involves hundreds of people. The tournament organizers warn that the vessels will weaken the ice in the area surrounding their track line.
