(SAN DIEGO) — The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the fatal collision involving a Coast Guard response boat and recreational vessel, public broadcasting’s KPBS reported. A Coast Guard officer said the response vessel was traveling at a high speed. The NTSB said the probe will result in safety recommendations.
