3 dead, 1 missing after icebreaking accident off Nova Scotia

(ILES-DE-LA-MADELEINE, Quebec) — Three sea hunters were killed and one is missing after their trawlier capsized while a Coast Guard icebreaker was towing it, the Globe and Mail newspaper reported. The incident happened off the coast of Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton. Witnesses said the sealing vessel was dragged into a large chunk of ice, and various agencies are investigating the actions of the icebreaker crew.
