Winds cause BC Ferries ‘vomit comet’ to abort voyage (PHOTO)

(PRINCE RUPERT, British Columbia) — High winds caused the BC Ferries vessel Northern Adventure to stop an underway voyage and turn back to port, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. British Columbia officials say it’s another black mark on the 117-meter ferry’s reputation, and they question whether the vessel is stable enough for the route from Prince Rupert to the Queen Charlotte Islands. It already had been labelled the “vomit comet.”
