(RACINE, Wis.) — Global marine propulsion manufacturer Veth Propulsion has named Twin Disc as its new U.S. distributor. The announcement was made on May 24 at the ITS Convention and Exhibition in Boston, Mass., by Erik Veth, Veth Propulsion general manager and Tim Batten, Twin Disc director of global marine sales.
Twin Disc recently became a Veth distributor for select Asian markets. Its new territory is the U.S. except for the Gulf Coast region, which will be covered by Veth's new subdistributor, Sewart Supply. This partnership was also announced at ITS by Veth and Allie Adams, Sewart Supply vice president of operations.
The strategic agreement provides Veth access to the Twin Disc sales and service network. Additionally, Twin Disc now offers its customers Veth's broad range of commercial marine products.
