Vessels coordinate medevac from Arctic Ocean cruise ship

(PRUDHOE BAY, Alaska) — A rescue response is being coordinated to evacuate an Arctic Ocean cruise ship passenger, the Alaska Dispatch news Web site reported. A German woman aboard the vessel Bremen, out of Greenland, has an apparent case of appendicitis. A vessel from Alaska Clean Seas, with two BP medics, is headed out to meet the cruise ship.
