Vane Brothers tug moves sloop Constellation at Baltimore

(BALTIMORE) — The Vane Brothers tug Alexander Duff helped move the 154-year-old sloop-of-war Constellation from its berth at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the Baltimore Sun newspaper reported. The historic warship was to take part in a commissioning ceremony for the destroyer USS Sterett in nearby South Locust Point. Constellation hasn’t traveled on its own for 115 years.
