(SWANSEA, United Kingdom) — Lumishore, the underwater LED lighting systems specialist based in Wales, has won a 2016 Queen’s Award for Enterprise for the third consecutive year. The award for innovation recognizes Lumishore’s resulting commercial success for over five years. In 2014 and 2015, the company was recognized for its contribution to international trade.
The Queen’s Award is the U.K.’s highest accolade for business achievement in three categories — innovation, international trade and sustainable development. It is awarded by the queen and is based on the recommendation of Britain’s prime minister.
