U.S. salvage crew jailed in Honduras on weapons charges

(TAMPA, Fla.) — A U.S. salvage crew has been arrested in Honduras after a law-enforcement boarding team found weapons on board, television station WTVT reported. The Aqua Quest's six-person crew arrived in Honduras for a coastal dredging project and was detained when five guns were found aboard the vessel. The captain said the guns were for protection against pirates. They have been in jail for five months, with court appearances pending.
