U.S. hospital ship arrives in Vietnam for charity mission (PHOTO)

(QUY NHAN, Vietnam) — The hospital ship USNS Mercy has arrived in Vietnam on a humanitarian mission, the VietNamNet Bridge news service reported. The U.S. Navy ship is on its first stop in Southeast Asia on the Navy’s “Pacific Partnership 2010” mission. Mercy, which has more than 1,000 doctors and nurses, will stay at Quy Nhan port for 10 days performing free checkups and operations.
