Tugboat’s engine trouble delays Fort Myers fireworks display

(FORT MYERS, Fla.) — The city’s Independence Day fireworks display started two hours late because of engine trouble on the tugboat that transported the fireworks barge, the News-Press newspaper reported. The fireworks were staged from a Kelly Brothers Marine Contractors barge. The motor on the barge’s anchor also failed.
