Tug sinks at New Orleans, forces closure of water plant

(NEW ORLEANS) — A tugboat sank near 7th Street Wharf, the television station WWL reported. All of the crew were rescued safely. The sinking caused the closure of the City of Gretna’s water plant because of a suspected diesel spill from the vessel.
