Training Resources Ltd. acquires two maritime newsletters

(SAN DIEGO) — Training Resources Ltd. Inc. (TRLMI) has acquired the rights to PMM Online and FN Online, the Pacific Maritime Magazine and Fishermen’s News electronic newsletters. Both newsletters will relaunch to current subscribers in the next week.

According to Dave Abrams, CEO of TRLMI, “We are in the business of providing mariners with knowledge through education. Adding the ability to provide knowledge through current industry news seems like a natural extension and will allow us to keep our mariners up to date on their industry. We are honored to be able to keep these great information sources going and understand our responsibility to keep mariners informed with relevant news about the maritime and commercial fishing industries that we serve along the West Coast.”

Peter Philips, president of Philips Publishing Inc., added, “My brother Chris and I are delighted that TRLMI will be continuing these online publications. FN Online and PMM Online have kept commercial mariners and commercial fishermen updated on news about the commercial waterfront for more than a decade, and I can’t think of a better successor to Philips Publishing than a business involved in education of mariners. ”
