Tenn. towboat operator pleads innocent to negligent homicide

(CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.) — The operator of the towboat involved in a fatal crash on Chickamauga Lake in June has pleaded innocent to charges of criminally negligent homicides, The Chattanooga Times Free Press reported. Authorities said the defendant was operating the towing vessel Bearcat when the tow struck a fishing boat in the channel. Two fishermen were killed.
