Ten injured when N.Y. ferry makes hard landing

(NEW YORK) — Ten people suffered minor injuries Wednesday night when an East River Ferry made a hard landing at Pier 11, the New York Daily News reported. Passengers who had been preparing to get off the ferry were launched into the air on impact, witnesses said. East River Ferry tweeted after the crash that ferries were running on “two-boat” service and some pickups may be skipped.
