Suspicious fire damages former Canadian Coast Guard ship

(DARTMOUTH, Nova Scotia) — A suspicious fire broke out aboard a former Canadian Coast Guard ship, the Times & Transcript newspaper reported. Fire crews responded to the blaze on the M/V Caruso, a privately owned cargo vessel that used to be the Coast Guard ship Sir Charles Tupper. No one was aboard the 70-meter vessel when the fire was discovered while the ship was moored in Halifax harbor.
