Stowaways aboard freighter spark security concerns at New Bedford

(NEW BEDFORD, Mass.) — The recent discovery of two stowaways on a freighter has sparked security concerns at the port, the Boston Globe reported. One Moroccan and one Palestinian were found aboard the Liberian-flagged Prince of Sounds, which was bound for Canada. The incident prompted the mayor of New Bedford to ask the Coast Guard to base security patrols at the port after a seven-year absence.
