Staten Island’s Caddell plans to add another large dry dock

(STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.) — Caddell Dry Dock & Repair Co., already New York Harbor’s largest shipyard, is planning to expand, the Staten Island Advance newspaper reported. Caddell want to build another large dry dock. The existing yard along Kill Van Kull employs 160 plus 100 subcontractors.
