(PORT CANAVERAL, Fla.) — Florida’s casino ship industry has fallen on hard times, Floriday Today newspaper reported. Most of the gambling boats are idle these day or are operating under bankruptcy protection, mostly due to their customers’ recent lack of discretionary income. Some casino vessel operators also complain that they are getting unfavorable treatment from the port.
