Ships, spill responders may use more Dracone barges (DIAGRAM)

(LONDON) — Cruise ships and oil-spill responders may use more Dracone barges in the future, the trade magazine Oil & Gas Engineer reported. A Dracone barge isn’t really a barge at all. Tugboats drag the “gigantic rubber bladder” to where it’s needed, either to clean up a spill or to help a cruise ship dispose of waste water in close quarters.
