(NEW ORLEANS) — Two groups of vessel were loose in the city’s Industrial Canal during Hurricane Gustav, the Times-Picayune newspaper reported. One 500-foot ship and two barges became stuck under a railroad bridge. Some vessels from the Southern Scrap company also broke from their moorings. The Coast Guard and Army Corps of Engineers were responding.
