Shell ends effort to drill for oil off Alaska this year

(THE HAGUE) — Royal Dutch Shell has scrapped plans to drill for oil off Alaska this year, Bloomberg News reported. The company's spill containment dome was damaged and the company said it doesn't have enough time to achieve deep drilling this season.
