(KAHNAWAKE, Quebec) — A tanker ran around in the South Shore Canal of the St. Lawrence Seaway on Monday morning, blocking the waterway, CBC News reported. M/V Jo Spirit, carrying a cargo of rum, suffered a main engine failure, went off course and hit the wall of the canal. Two tugboats arrived Monday afternoon to free the ship.
