Rolls-Royce developing modern-day clipper for shipping

(LONDON) — Rolls-Royce Holdings is working with partners to develop a modern-day clipper ship in response to new emissions regulations and a projected long-term increase in the cost of fuel, Bloomberg Businessweek reported. The 330-foot ship will have an automated 180-foot sail complemented by biomethane engines. It will be able to carry 4,500 tons of freight.
