(MIAMI) — Royal Caribbean’s cruise ship Liberty of the Seas notified passenger that Legionnaire’s disease cases were linked to the ship in November, the South Florida Business Journal reported. One of the passengers who contracted Legionnaire’s later died. Although the offending bacterium was never found on the ship, a hot-tub area was closed for most of a recent cruise because of the suspicions.
