(VIENNA) — R.M. Young Company will unveil its newest weather sensor, the ResponseONE-PRO, at the Meteorological Technology World Expo in Vienna on Sept. 24, 25 and 26. This newly designed all-in-one weather station allows users to easily access the internal weather sensors and filter for quick, convenient and cost-effective maintenance.
The YOUNG ResponseONE all-in-one weather station allows users to gather wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity and pressure accurately and reliably from a single source with minimal footprint. There are options for add-ons as well, including a compass or a precipitation gauge. These components and systems work together seamlessly to provide accurate and reliable weather data. The sensors measure atmospheric variables and transmit them as a single output string.
To build upon this instrument’s capabilities, Young will be revealing its updated design, the ResponseONE-PRO, for the first time at the expo. The ResponseONE-PRO features an access port so users can easily remove and replace the protective filter and internal sensor module. This feature enables users to restore the performance back to factory standards without the need to return to the manufacturer, which can be time-consuming and costly.
The ResponseONE-PRO was specifically engineered to meet the demands for marine data buoy applications. For the past three years, it has been deployed in harsh marine environments on ocean buoys, consistently providing accurate and reliable data.
“Now, customers can restore their device to factory specifications as easily as changing a light bulb,” said Tom Young, company president. “We heard many complaints over the years about the need to return all-in-one sensors to the manufacturer for maintenance, so we took that as a challenge to engineer a user-friendly, cost-effective solution that eliminates that need and greatly reduces downtime.”
