QE2, soon to be a hotel, calls at New York for the last time

(NEW YORK) — The venerable cruise ship Queen Elizabeth 2 has called at New York for the final time, the New York Times reported. After four decades of service as the world’s fastest passenger ship, the Cunard vessel is headed to Dubai to serve as a floating hotel. The QE2 tied up at Manhattan’s Pier 90 on Thursday, prior to one final trans-Atlantic voyage.
