Portland’s Fournier retires amid unresolved family feud (PHOTO)

(PORTLAND, Maine) — Notable Maine docking pilot Capt. Arthur J. Fournier, 79, has formally retired in the midst of his unresolved effort to regain control of his family’s ship escort business. Fournier was Portland Harbor’s senior docking pilot. His sons now control the family holdings including Portland Tugboat LLC, with lawsuits dropped.
