Passengers evacuated after excursion boat runs aground in New York Harbor

(NEW YORK) — Emergency responders evacuated 91 passengers from an excursion boat Saturday night after the vessel ran aground in New York Harbor, WABC reported. Hornblower Cruises and Events said the boat was motoring on a dinner cruise when it lost propulsion near Governors Island. The Coast Guard and New York police and fire personnel assisted in transferring the passengers to other boats.
