(DES ALLEMANDS, La.) — Otto Candies announced on Thursday that it has expanded its offshore fleet by acquiring four multi-purpose supply vessels (MPSVs) from Harvey Gulf International Marine of New Orleans.
Harvey Blue-Sea, Harvey Sub-Sea, Harvey Deep-Sea and Harvey Intervention, all DP-2-class MPSVs, joined the Otto Candies fleet on Oct. 23, according to Otto Candies.
“This acquisition represents a meaningful step forward in the continued growth of Otto Candies LLC and our commitment to supporting the evolving needs of the offshore energy industry,” the company said in a prepared statement. “Each of these vessels brings proven subsea capability and operational versatility that align with our mission to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient marine services.”
The 340-by-73-foot Harvey Sub-Sea and Harvey Blue-Sea were built in 2017. The 302-by-64-foot Harvey Deep-Sea was built in 2013. Harvey Invention, built in 2012, has an overall length of 300 feet with a 64-foot beam.
