Orders for new LNG ships fall to lowest level in a decade

(NEW DELHI) — Orders for new liquidfied natural gas ships are plunging, Bloomberg News reported. Charter rates for LNG shipments have fallen by half, and growth in LNG shipments may have fallen to 2 percent this year from over 7 percent last year. Orders for new vessels are the lowest they’ve been in a decade.
