(KELOWNA, British Columbia) — The operator of a tugboat died Monday night when the vessel sank on Okanagan Lake, Kelowna Capital News reported. The body of the victim, who was a worker at the Tolko Mill, was recovered Tuesday from the boat. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police and WorkSafe BC are investigating what caused the vessel to sink.
