(LONG BEACH, Calif.) — The Coast Guard received notification from the National Response Center today of a reported discharge of oil during a transfer between a vessel and a tank barge in Long Beach Harbor, Pier G-214.
A unified command consisting of Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach and the California Department of Fish and Game was immediately stood-up.
