Offshore oil rig explodes south of Vermilion Bay, injuring one

(NEW ORLEANS) — An offshore oil rig exploded south of Vermilion Bay, CNN reported. The Coast Guard said all 13 occupants of the rig have been accounted for, and one is injured. The rig is owned by Mariner Energy.
