(LUNENBURG, Nova Scotia) — Bluenose II, Nova Scotia’s provincial ambassador vessel, will undergo a C$14 million refit, the Canadian Broadcasting Service reported. The schooner will sit out the 2010 tourist season as a result of the project. Officials plan to replace decking materials and hull wood to improve its compliance with modern safety standards.
