New Brunswick to send new ferry to dry dock for thruster overhaul

(SAINT JOHN, New Brunswick) — The province’s newest ferry already needs dry-dock repairs, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. The Grand Manan Adventure, which entered service a month ago, will be taken out of service for work on its bow thrusters. The vessel will continue to sail until after the busy tourist season ends, but then it will be in dry dock for an estimated 10 days.
