(BALTIMORE) — The hospital ship USNS Comfort is preparing to activate for a humanitarian voyage to earthquake-ravaged Haiti, television station WBAL reported. The Military Sealift Command says it is preparing for deployments to assist the Caribbean country. The Comfort can produce fresh water from seawater in addition to providing medical care.
