(MARINETTE, Wis.) — USS Little Rock, the U.S. Navy's ninth littoral combat ship (LCS), was christened and launched today at Marinette Marine Corp., Naval Technology reported. Little Rock is one of seven Freedom-variant littoral combat ships under construction at the Wisconsin yard. It will continue to undergo outfitting and testing before delivery later this year.
