Marine Research Hub honors innovation, sustainability at FLIBS

(FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.) — The Marine Research Hub, in collaboration with the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), announced the recipients of the first MRH Innovation & Sustainability Awards at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) 2023.

This accolade celebrates companies and organizations within the marine industry that have demonstrated remarkable dedication and ingenuity in developing solutions to safeguard marine ecosystems for generations to come. The winners were revealed on Oct. 25 during the MRH Innovation & Sustainability award reception.

The overall winner of the MRH Innovation & Sustainability Award at FLIBS 2023 was Sunreef Yachts/Sunreef Ventures. Sunreef was also one of the boats in the running for Best in Show this year. MRH Innovation & Sustainability Awards also recognized three finalists: Volvo Penta, Boening USA, and ePropulsion Technology Ltd.
