Maine whale-watching boat breaks loose from moorings, runs aground

(SOUTHWEST HARBOR, Maine) — An empty whalewatching tour boat broke free from its moorings and ran hard aground on rocks, the Bangor Daily News reported. The Tails of the Sea's mooring lines parted because of high winds. The boat drifted until the high tide lifted it onto the rocky Hancock Point.
