Maersk Alabama uses gunfire to thwart second pirate attack

(MOMBASA, Kenya) — The Maersk Alabama was attacked by pirates for a second time, ABC News reported. A security team aboard the ship used gunfire to repel the group of four pirates, who had fired automatic weapons but were unable to board the cargo ship. The ship’s 20 crew are safe.
