(MARIETTA, Ohio) — The nation’s last steam-powered sternwheel riverboat will return to its berth this month, the Ironton Tribune newspaper reported. The W.P. Snyder Jr. has undergone $1.4 million in repairs to its hull and paddlewheel at McGinnis Inc. Tugs and barges will tow the 92-year-old vessel to its regular home at the Ohio Maritime Museum on the Muskingum River.
