(COVINGTON, La.) — Continuing to expand its leadership in the marine and industrial power markets, Laborde Products has hired Bobby Dugas as its general service manager. Brian Laborde, president, made the announcement during a recent companywide meeting.
Dugas has more than 25 years of experience in the engine service business. Most recently, he held the position of general manager of aftermarket services at Reagan Power & Compression.
In his new role, Dugas will be responsible for service support operations at all three Laborde locations, as well as the company's extensive network of over 90 service dealers. He will work out of Laborde's Covington, La., corporate headquarters.
"Bobby brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to our team," said Laborde. "His managerial skills, thorough understanding of the engine business and dedication to customer service will serve our clients well into our company's future."
For over 16 years, Laborde Products has provided the "right product, right service, and right support" to the marine and industrial markets. It is a distributor for FPT, Hatz, Steyr, Mitsubishi and Yanmar engines.
