SALEM, NEW HAMPSHIRE, May 11, 2009 – Lâ€3 Communications Klein Associates, Inc. is pleased to inform you that the recently released to market, Lâ€3 Klein 3000H (Hiâ€Res) System is now in fullâ€rate production. The System 3000H offers the attributes of the Klein 3000 but with the added capability of higher resolution imaging with selectable frequencies of 455 kHz and 900 kHz.
As you know, the Klein System 3000 is considered the Side Scan Sonar “work horse†of the industry with a proven track record of over 15 years of outstanding field performance and reliability. In years to come the new System 3000 Hiâ€Res should attain the same level of recognition and acceptability in the market. Just think about it, wide area surveys and searches with the 455 kHz at a range of 150 meters and then select the 900 kHz frequency to perform identification and classification at 50 or better meter range. The Klein Systems 3000 and now 3000H are directed to the commercial, institutional and government subsea markets. After reviewing our customer listings, Lâ€3 Klein has found that both systems have further applications in the military markets due to the Klein High Resolution of our imaging.
