Joliet chamber selects Ozinga as Employer of the Year

(MOKENA, Ill.) — The Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry has selected Ozinga as its 2018 Small Business/Employer of the Year.

“We’re extremely excited about this award and the opportunity to serve the Joliet community for years to come,” said Marty Ozinga IV, Ozinga president. “We strive to make a positive impact on the people, families, and communities in which we work, and this award is a testament to our commitment to that goal.”

Ozinga’s Joliet Yard serves as a hub for the ready-mix concrete and materials and logistics entities of the company. The location allows us to supply vital resources for the construction process and development in Joliet and surrounding areas.

Ozinga’s ready mix operation also provided the concrete for a number of jobs throughout Joliet over the 2018 season, including projects at Joliet Cold Storage Facility, First Logistics, Will County Courthouse, and the M&E Global Group.

Ozinga will be recognized during the chamber’s Annual Dinner and Celebration of Success on Jan. 17.
