J.M. Martinac Shipyard sold at foreclosure auction

(TACOMA, Wash.) — A limited liability corporation purchased J.M. Martinac Shipbuilding for $6 million in a foreclosure auction Friday, The News Tribune reported. Washington Landmark Holdings LLC bought the property but did not disclose what it planned to do with it. The shipyard, Tacoma’s oldest, had won no new contracts since the fishing vessel Northern Leader left the yard a year ago.
