The fuel, oil and water-resistant mounts have been specially designed to handle thrust of up to 20 tons to minimize engine vibration in high-demand applications — tugboats, towboats, patrol boats and ferries.
"The real innovation of our new mounts is that they are adjustable, negating the need for shims and Chockfast," said Cam Ewart, founder and president of IsoFlex.
Trunnion mounts can be installed in a single, double or triple arrangement. A custom bracket is included; purchasing other engine brackets is not required. The bespoke bracket allows it to fit to most gearboxes available on the market.
The modular design allows the new mounts to be custom tailored to handle a range of thrust applications.
