(SWANTON, Vt.) — Interflon USA has introduced Interflon Paste HT1200, a lubricant and assembly paste with MicPol, to the North American market.
Specially formulated with soft, non-toxic ceramic materials for greater environmental and operator safety, and rated NSF H1, HT1200 also prevents galling, fretting and galvanic corrosion. Due to the polarization of MicPol particles, HT1200 adheres to surfaces magnetically, creating a long-lasting bond. It is highly resistant to moisture, salt water, acid media, high pressure, and atmospheric effects, and possesses a coefficient of friction of 0.12. It also functions as a rethreading compound for heavily damaged bolts.
Available in aerosol, squeezable tube, or pot formats, HT1200 is available for use throughout the shipping, shipbuilding and maritime construction industries. In the United States, it is available either from an Interflon technical adviser or on Amazon.com. Established in Holland in 1980, Interflon products are well known in Europe but are relatively new in the U.S.
