(IRKLAND, Wash.) — Icom America, industry-leading two-way radio manufacturer, is attending the 2014 Seattle Boat Show, Indoors & Afloat. Icom is exhibiting its popular space-saving M400BB fixed mount radio and other marine electronics at Concourse 2312. The Pacific Northwest's annual show takes place from January 24 – February 2 over two Seattle locations.
Icom's booth at Concourse 2312 will display the company's award-winning line of marine communications. Among the radios on display is Icom's M400BB, a compact VHF marine radio comprising only an RF unit and Icom's COMMANDMICIV™ remote control microphone. The M400BB's main body can be easily installed behind a wall or another out-of-sight location — perfect for compact boats or shipbuilders requiring a black box solution. Radio features include Class D DSC, active noise cancelling, IPX7 waterproof protection, and compatibility with Icom's MA-500TR Class B AIS transponder. The COMMANDMICIV utilizes the AquaQuake™ water draining function and an intuitive soft-key interface design. The latter is also found on Icom's celebrated M424 and M92D VHF radio models.
The Seattle Boat Show is the west coast's largest boat show and features more than 1,000 boats and other watercraft. The 2014 show is also offering approximately 200 free boating and fishing seminars in addition to its Boat Show University paid courses. Special Seattle Boat Show events include "Uncorked — an Evening of Fine Wine," and "Sails & Ales — a Night of Craft Beers."
The 2014 Seattle Boat Show will be held at two venues: the CenturyLink Field Event Center and on the water at Chandler's Cove, South Lake Union. Shuttle service, ticket information and other Seattle Boat Show information can be obtained online at www.seattleboatshow.com.
