Hospital ship Mercy to stop in Hawaii en route to Asia (PHOTO)

(HONOLULU) — The U.S. hospital ship Mercy will stop in Hawaii on its way to a medical relief mission to Southeast Asia, the Star-Bulletin newspaper reported. The 894-foot vessel will dock in Pearl Harbor on May 8 for a two-day stay. Then it will join a flotilla of humanitarian ships on a voyage to Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and Timor-Leste.
